Professional Experience

Daniel joined Culshaw Miller Lawyers (formerly Shann Family Lawyers) in March 2009 while studying Law at Edith Cowan University. Daniel completed a Bachelor of Laws at Edith Cowan University in November 2010. Daniel completed a graduate diploma in legal practice through the College of Law Western Australia and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia in August 2012.

In April 2010, Daniel participated in The VisEast International Trade Law mooting competition in Hong Kong. Daniel was also a participant in the 2009 Corrs Chambers Westgarth Deans List competition representing Edith Cowan University.

In November 2013, Daniel became a nationally recognised mediator through the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (AIFLAM). He is a member of both AIFLAM and LEADR, the Association of Dispute Resolution Practitioners, as well as an active member of the Law Society of Western Australia, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia.

Daniel has extensive experience in helping our client’s navigate the family law process and providing frank advice and passionate advocacy. Daniel also represents those who require assistance with restraining order matters, and non-family law related mediations.

Daniel has previously volunteered for the Smith Family as a mentor for High School students, and as a pro bono lawyer with the Women’s Legal Service of Western Australia.
