Professional Experience

Darren is a Legal Practice Director at Culshaw Miller Lawyers and after completing a Bachelor of Law was admitted to legal practice in 1996.

Darren joined the firm when it was known as Marks Healy Sands in 1997 and has been with the firm ever since, through its transition to Marks and Sands and then Culshaw Miller Lawyers in 2011. Darren has practised exclusively in the areas of commercial, estate planning and dispute resolution.

Darren has a broad practice that covers commercial and corporate matters as well as Wills and Estate planning and deceased estates. Having more than 25 years experience in the practice areas listed above means that Darren can offer invaluable insight and advice on these topics and is more than equipped to assist in:

• Preparing and reviewing shareholder and joint venture agreements as well as commercial agreements such as terms of trade, contractor agreements
• Preparing and reviewing agreements to effect sales of businesses including Share Sale and Purchase Agreement and Business Sale Agreements
• Advising clients on employment related matters including the preparation of employment agreements, unfair dismissal claims and general protections claims under the Fair Work Act
• Drafting Wills and Business Succession Deeds
• Trust related matters
• Estate Litigation including Family Provision Act claims
